How Natural Capital Project works

Assessing your project’s impact takes just a few steps

Natural Capital Project - Draw on map

1. Draw project site on map

Draw the area where you will implement your project on the map, with guidance from contextual layers.

Natural Capital Project - View location condition

2. View Location Condition

View the baseline environmental and social condition of the project area and surrounds.

Natural Capital Project - Define project plan

3. Define Project Plan

Define project type and detailed activities that will influence the impact of the project.

Natural Capital Project - Explore project impact

4. Explore Impact Report

Your project’s impact on ESG indicators and global sustainability goals.

Natural Capital Project predicts the change in condition of 20+ indicators in response to nature repair projects.

The user defines their project site, then Natural Capital Project intersects the project site with a large collection of spatial information to quantify the baseline conditions at the site (Location Condition).

The characteristics of the project are captured (Project Plan), and the potential benefits of the project are then predicted using a range of indicator-specific modelling approaches (Impact Report).

Spatial application

Nature repair projects can be created anywhere on mainland Australia and Tasmania.
